I specialize in mastering acoustic music...Jazz, Folk, Classical, Vocal, etc. In today’s world of booming bass, sub-woofers, and over compression it is becoming increasingly hard to find engineers who know what recordings of acoustic music should sound like.
I have 43 years of experience as a jazz musician (saxophone). I have 35 years experience running a recording studio where virtually all of my clients were acoustic bands. About 20 years ago I began focusing my work on mastering acoustic projects.
I also offer re-mixing in cases where the projects mix cannot be fixed in the mastering process.
